The Field Service Engineer Systems provides on-site field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex capital equipment and systems.
- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment
- Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules across customer sites
- Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements
- Support multiple equipment platforms with flexibility and technical depth
- Report to the Service Manager on equipment status, EHS concerns, and action items with regular updates
- Engage with customers as the primary technical contact, managing service-related discussions and expectations
- Maintain and oversee the performance of assigned equipment installations and installations base
- Mechanical or electrical engineering degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor field service
- Strong electrical knowledge, including the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proven ability to apply systematic, step-by-step troubleshooting methodologies to diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions
- Excellent knowledge of EHS guidelines and best practices with a safety-first mindset
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Valid driver's license for Europe
- Willingness to travel frequently and respond to urgent deployment requests
