We are partnered with an established industry leader at the forefront of CNC machine tools, automation, and advanced manufacturing systems. We’re looking for a CNC Sales Manager who will lead a team of four high-performing CNC Sales Engineers across the Western NY region. This person will drive revenue growth, expand market share, and elevate customer partnerships across a multi-state territory. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a technical, consultative sales environment and enjoys developing people as much as growing business. This is a new position based out of Buffalo, NY and reporting to the company President.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company growth goals
Set performance targets, track metrics, and guide the team to exceed objectives
Identify new market opportunities and lead initiatives to capture emerging business
Recruit, coach, and motivate CNC Sales Engineering team to reach their full potential
Conduct field visits to support customer engagement and team development
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
Strengthen relationships with key accounts, OEMs, and decision-makers
Support the team in complex negotiations and closing of high-value deals
Resolve escalated customer concerns with urgency and professionalism
Partner with internal Service, Engineering, and Applications teams to ensure world-class customer support
Provide accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, and market feedback to senior leadership
Represent the company at trade shows, product demos, and industry events
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of successful sales experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
Track record of success in technical, industrial, or capital equipment sales
Strong leadership, communication, and data-driven decision-making skills
Experience with CNC machinery, automation systems, or manufacturing technology
Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho or similar) and pipeline management best practices
Technical background (mechanical or electrical) is highly desirable
