Social Media & Marketing Coordinator (Drone Industry Startup) DMR Drones – Lafayette, Louisiana Part-Time, Full-Time, Internship | In-Office | Growth Opportunity DMR Drones is hiring a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help grow one of Louisiana’s fastest-growing drone technology brands. This role is ideal for someone creative, adaptable, and excited to help build a national brand from the ground up. We design and manufacture American-made drones in Lafayette, Louisiana, serving industries including: Agriculture Industrial & Energy Law Enforcement & Public Safety Commercial Drone Operations STEM Education Defense & Government This position will be the primary day-to-day marketing role inside a rapidly growing startup environment. You’ll work directly with executive leadership to help shape the DMR brand across multiple industries and platforms. If you love social media, content creation, drones, technology, videography, photography, branding, or AI-assisted marketing tools — this could be an incredible opportunity. Position Details Location: Lafayette, LA (In-Office) Schedule: 30–40 hours per week (flexible) Compensation: Flexible based on experience Part-Time: Starting around $15+/hour Full-Time Salary Opportunities Available Internship Opportunities Available Benefits Eligible for Full-Time Employees Health Insurance Dental Vision Life Insurance Supplemental Benefits Growth & Advancement Opportunities What You’ll Do Create 4–6 weekly social media posts promoting DMR drones and technology Develop content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Shopify B2B & B2C campaigns Capture and edit Photos, Videos, Reels, Short-form content Assist with: Branding initiatives Marketing campaigns Product launches Trade show promotion Write marketing copy and social captions Schedule content and monitor engagement Help showcase DMR’s “Built on the Bayou” Louisiana drone manufacturing story Support multiple product lines and industries simultaneously Wear multiple hats in a fast-moving startup environment
What We’re Looking For Creative, motivated, and adaptable personality Comfortable working independently Strong social media instincts and content awareness Interest or experience in: Social media marketing Photography Videography Reel editing Canva SEO Branding Content creation AI-assisted marketing tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Canva AI, etc.) Ability to create content that feels authentic and genuine — not overly “corporate” or robotic Comfortable learning new technologies and platforms quickly
