About the Role Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team. Our data team supports a wide range of internal customers including Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales by delivering scalable, secure, and high-impact data solutions. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Stream Analytics, and Fabric. Work with on-premises tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS. Design normalized relational and/or dimensional data models for OLTP and OLAP systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement enterprise reporting models. Administer and optimize our data solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. You’re a Great Fit If You Have hands‑on experience with data services in a professional setting. Have a strong grasp of data modeling, SQL, and cloud‑based data architecture. Thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross‑functional teams. Are committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with evolving data technologies. Benefits Competitive pay and salary ranges: Associate Data Engineer ($84,240 – $124,461), Data Engineer ($97,740 – $144,460), Lead Data Engineer ($115,290 – $170,349).
