Job Overview The Manager, Information Technology at Alliant Energy leads a team in delivering product and service solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and guiding technology strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead all leadership duties such as hiring, coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution. Manage the lifecycle of products or services, including maintenance, patching, and release of new versions. Participate in technology planning to align priorities across IT services. Set and monitor outcomes, objectives, and key results (OKRs) to deliver cost-effective, customer-driven solutions. Develop solutions, define scope, prioritize, and deliver systems and functions in partnership with business leaders. Coordinate plans and solutions with the sourcing department and manage vendor relationships and agreements. Provide leadership and direction for communication, implementation of new practices, and continuous improvement of organizational performance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 8 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Experience managing and executing solutions for complex business problems. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. Experience with Agile methodology. Eligible for the annual incentive program. Total rewards include competitive compensation, health and retirement benefits, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.
