Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level System and Network Administrator to join a Space Systems Verification and Test team in El Segundo, CA. This 100% onsite role supports 24/7 test operations, including setup, deployment, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Support factory floor test operations and deploy test software/configurations.
Troubleshoot and improve system effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop tools and ensure security for test environments.
Use agile methods to manage product security requirements.
Participate in system hardening and readiness for satellite testing.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s in engineering, computer science, or related field.
CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications.
Experience with Windows Server, RedHat/Oracle Linux, Cisco IOS, VMware, and enterprise storage.
Preferred:
ITIL 4, CCNA, and experience in satellite test operations and cybersecurity.
Familiarity with PTEX, MTEX, and ATC test systems.
Details:
Location: El Segundo, CA
Travel: Possible 5–10%
Compensation: $120,000- $135,000 (based on experience) / Paid Holidays / PTO / Medical Benefits / 401k
