The Role This is a high-growth opportunity for a rising technical talent to help build a world‑class data platform from the ground up. Working under the direct mentorship of the Staff Analytics Engineer, this individual will be a key contributor to our transformation layer, turning raw data into the fuel that powers our business. This isn\'t a role for someone who wants to hide in the logs; it\'s for an engineer who wants to master the modern data stack, engage with business stakeholders, and stay at the absolute forefront of AI‑enabled analytics.
Core Responsibilities
Data Transformation:
Building and optimizing dbt models to ensure clean, reliable, and performant datasets for business consumption.
BI Support & Maintenance:
Assisting in the management of our AI‑forward BI tools and ensuring executive‑level dashboards remain accurate and high‑performing.
Semantic Layer Support:
Contributing to the development of our governed semantic layer under the guidance of the Staff Analytics Engineer to maintain a single source of truth.
Stakeholder Interaction:
Partnering with business units to troubleshoot data questions, refine requirements, and provide technical support during ad‑hoc analysis.
Documentation & Testing:
Owning the quality of the analytics layer by writing rigorous tests and maintaining documentation that makes our data easy to discover and use.
AI Exploration:
Assisting in the implementation of AI‑driven tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance the self‑service experience for the business.
The Profile
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in an analytical or data‑focused role. This individual has a strong foundational grasp of data structures and transformation logic.
Growth Mindset:
A hungry, "partner-first" professional who is eager to learn from senior leadership and eventually lead their own workstreams.
Technical Fundamentals:
Strong proficiency in SQL is a requirement. Familiarity with dbt, Python, or modern cloud warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery) is a significant plus.
Communication:
This individual is comfortable speaking with non‑technical stakeholders and can translate "data talk" into clear, actionable answers.
AI Enthusiasm:
A genuine interest in how AI and LLMs are changing the data landscape and a desire to build these efficiencies into their daily workflow.
We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway!
