Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for development, configuration, and maintenance of ETL or data integration solutions. The position will also troubleshoot and resolve testing issues; focus on programming and configuration of data integration solutions. The role requires expertise in SSIS or ADF (or any ETL tool) and C#/.NET (console app) integration development. The Senior Developer III will act as a technical leader, mentor, and innovator, driving best practices, ensuring code quality, and significantly contributing to architectural integrity and IT initiative success.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work closely with IT and Business Teammates to identify potential business process candidates
Coordinate with business partners to re‑imagine and improve business processes as appropriate
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support processes using CCCI best practices
Contribute to the CCCI shared library of domain components and best practices
Participate in rotational on‑call support, maintenance activities and other duties as determined by the team
Develop and manage ETL processes with SQL Server, SSIS, ADF, and Snowflake for efficient data integration
Write code in lower‑level languages (C#, .NET, Python) to optimize performance and efficiency of the organization’s IT platform
Configure, customize, diagnose, and enhance SAAS, off‑the‑shelf, in‑house, or third‑party systems software including operating systems, utilities, and peripheral management
Write diagnostic programs to test integrated software, hardware systems and resolve system faults to ensure proper functionality
Participate and actively contribute to Agile Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑up, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog Grooming
Document systems software programs and code for audit purposes and explain why the program was built
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Identify existing business processes suitable for domain integration
Take ownership of complex initiatives and drive them to successful completion
Design well‑structured and efficient processes and objects following standard principles and practices
Coordinate security best practices with IT security and agile delivery teams
Document, evangelize, and guide adoption and implementations across agile delivery teams
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Strong understanding of data
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school
5+ years of experience in ETL
5+ years of experience working with SQL
Experience working with SSIS or ADF or other ETL tools
Experience in C#, .NET integration development (console application) where console application experience is mandatory
3+ years of experience in domain‑specific framework development
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure API Management
Experience with Azure Data Factory
Experience leading and mentoring technical teams in complex development environments
Agile delivery in a matrixed organizational structure
MS Azure environment development experience
MS Azure DevOps or GIT experience
Familiarity with data integrations and exchange frameworks (JSON, XML, EDI)
BS in Computer Science or related field
Work Environment In‑office 4 days a week, 1 day remote
