Brooksource is seeking an Associate Quality Analyst (Software Tester) to support quality assurance initiatives for a Global Fortune 500 consulting client within the telecommunications space. This role focuses on validating applications tied to cloud and GenAI-enabled solutions, ensuring high-quality product delivery across complex environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for early‑career professionals looking to gain hands‑on experience in software testing, Agile delivery, and emerging AI‑driven technologies. You will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and QA leads to identify defects, validate fixes, and enhance overall system performance.
Minimum Qualifications
Internship or strong project experience in software testing or quality assurance (internships, coursework, or academic projects included)
Foundational understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams
Key Responsibilities
Execute manual and basic automated test cases to validate application functionality
Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
Assist in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Validate APIs using tools such as Postman or similar platforms
Query databases (SQL) to verify data integrity and accuracy
