Are you early in your embedded software career and excited by the idea of building technology that directly improves patient outcomes? Join our Sports Medicine R&D team in Andover, MA, where you will help develop a next generation surgical endoscopic system used by surgeons around the world. This is a hybrid role where your work will contribute to real world innovation in a highly collaborative, quality driven environment.
What will you be doing?
Designing and developing high quality C and C++ embedded software for medical devices used in sports medicine applications
Developing proof of concepts to support endoscopic, surgical navigation and electromechanical products
Owning the full lifecycle of software increments from requirements and acceptance criteria through to documentation and testing
Collaborating with cross functional and multi site agile teams to define requirements and deliver value driven solutions
Creating and maintaining automated testing and CI frameworks for embedded C and C++ codebases
Supporting debugging, root cause analysis and promoting a quality first mindset in a regulated environment
What will you need to be successful?
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience
0 to 3 years of experience developing embedded software using C and C++ on bare metal and or embedded Linux platforms
Experience working with microcontrollers, RTOS or FPGA based systems and common hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART or USB
An understanding of CI CD pipelines, unit testing for embedded software and scripting using Python or Shell is beneficial
Strong problem‑solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast paced, regulated development environment
This position does not offer visa sponsorship now or in the future
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $78,750.00 - $118,000.00 USD annually and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, job‑related knowledge/skills, geographical location. You will be entitled to receive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, and a variety of wellness offerings.
