Vendor Management (Top Priority) Managing relationships with hardware vendors (Cisco preferred) Order management and procurement coordination Handling vendor escalations, delivery timelines, and supply chain issues Tracking vendor performance and KPIs 2. Inventory Management Managing large-scale hardware inventory Asset lifecycle and stock management Preventing unnecessary purchases through inventory optimization Hardware tracking, allocation, and refresh planning 3. Forecasting & Capacity Planning Forecasting hardware demand based on historical usage trends Capacity planning and future inventory needs Lead-time planning to ensure hardware availability Financial Acumen Candidate should understand: Budget planning Capital Expense (CapEx) Operational Expense (OpEx) Asset depreciation P&L basics
