Overview Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Princeton, NJ): Will play a Quality Assurance role to perform manual and automation regression tests.
Responsibilities
Perform manual and automation regression tests using frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Java, Python, Cucumber, Postman, Snowflake, JMeter, and TestNG.
Write test scripts and test cases using Selenium and data-driven approaches.
Create and execute complex DML SQL statements.
Implement the SDLC process.
Create jobs in Jenkins, execute regression suites, review logs, and identify errors and root causes of failures.
Coach new team members in Selenium element location strategies (xpath, name, id, java class, method, interface).
Participate in weekly code reviews and team presentations.
Communicate with stakeholders and provide daily reports to product owners.
Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams and meet tight deadlines.
Hybrid remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field; plus 5 years of related experience. Alternatively, Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field; plus 2 years of related experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Proven knowledge ofFinancial reporting and SQL.
Strong ability to perform manual and automated regression testing; maintain and enhance using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, TestNG, Python, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks.
Thorough knowledge of the SDLC process.
Financial domain experience in hedge reporting, with ability to understand reports such as holding and profit and loss reports in Advent Geneva using Report Specification Language (RSL) and Report Definition Language (RDL).
Familiarity with stored procedures, including loading to server and execution in Private Equity Investran accounting software and ESP.
Strong hands-on experience with SVN and GIT version control tools.
Solid knowledge of Excel and VBA coding (macros) and PowerPoint presentations.
Familiarity with Agile methodology, RTC, and cloud Jira for iteration and story management.
Thorough knowledge of JUnit, TestNG, and JMeter for performance testing.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
Salary and Benefits Salary: $128,856 to $180,000 Annual.
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would work outside of the primary location, the applicable range could differ.
