As a Senior Sales Manager at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and delivering strategic programs within the Defense & Space International High Growth Region Customer Business Team. You will be responsible for driving program execution, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery while also supporting regional growth objectives and strengthening customer relationships across key Defense & Space accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own sales performance and pipeline for assigned geography/accounts
Develop and execute account strategies to expand customer base
Lead, coach, and develop sales teams to maximize performance
Drive opportunity identification, qualification, and closure (large/complex deals)
Maintain executive‑level customer relationships (government / defense stakeholders)
Oversee proposal development, negotiations, and contract execution
Manage forecasting accuracy, revenue targets, and margin discipline
Balance strategic planning, customer engagement, and team leadership
Ensure alignment with global sales, product, and program teams
Cross‑functional coordination (business, programs, engineering, BD)
YOU MUST HAVE
Strategic sales leadership (large, complex deals)
Proven experience in defense/aerospace or government sales
Account management & customer relationship depth
Revenue ownership and forecasting discipline
Team leadership and coaching capability
Negotiation and contract management
Strong commercial acumen (profitability, deal shaping)
Experience in India market dynamics
Familiarity with defense procurement processes
Existing network with key accounts / government
Experience managing multi‑country or regional portfolios
Exposure to technical sales (engineering‑driven solutions)
Ability to influence without direct authority (matrix org)
Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
Experience in leading a global cross‑functional team.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and changing environment
