Role Summary: Responsible for technical pre/post‑sales support, including customized application engineering and solutions, implementation, training, and maintenance. Assesses application of firm products to meet customer needs, may prepare product specifications for development and implementation of client solutions, and specializes in post‑sale technical expertise during installation, implementation and maintenance of firm products. Provides detailed customer installation requirements and ensures product functions according to specification. Incentives tied to product sales. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the development and refinement of Mavenir’s AI, Network Core, & BSS vision and strategy. Contribute to the development and refinement of Mavenir’s Cloud based Network Core. Assist sales team in all phases of the selling process. Interact with internal and external customers. Work with Account managers to identify/qualify customer & prospect opportunities & define requirements. Work with Product Managers to reflect customer requirements in feature set & roadmap. Lead, manage & provide direct technical input to customer RFXs. Understand pricing mechanisms and support sales team in building commercial proposals. Maintain contact and open communication with customers to assist with future needs. Active in tender submissions. Prepare technical sales materials including collateral, quotation, timeline, project plan and solution proposals. Lead POC activities with customers. Create content to support the technical strength of the Mavenir solutions strategy. Job Requirements Excellent understanding of 4G & 5G and wireless technologies and the development of virtualized EPC and 5G Core landscape, including vendors/products/key attributes. Knowledge of how AI is changing the telecoms industry (e.g., Autonomous Networks and AI monetization use cases). Familiarity with 3GPP standards bodies. Understanding of operator core and IT networks, including IT/OSS/BSS integration requirements. Knowledge of NFVi and containerization in carrier‑grade environments (VM or Container based). Knowledge of technology and deployment methods used to support VoLTE, VoNR & VoWiFi. Understanding of User Equipment Client and App capabilities in the mobile space. Knowledge of the move to containerized core network elements and impact on performance and cost compared to NFVi and bare metal. Highly proficient listener & consultative sales style with the ability to shape customer thinking. Excellent communication skills in verbal, written and presentation forms. Acute attention to detail & organization. Energetic and creative with an upbeat, positive attitude. A team player who works well with others, has strong influencing skills, and is creative and entrepreneurial. Significant, proven and demonstratable telecom industry experience. Excellent presentation and workshop hosting skills with the ability to influence customer technology teams. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
