Job Summary We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Washington DC. As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining our network and computer systems to ensure the smooth operation of our business. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot network issues and perform maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements as needed. Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings. Install and update software applications as needed. Perform regular backups to ensure data is protected in case of system failure. Provide technical support to end-users for network or systems‑related issues. Collaborate with IT team members to design and implement new systems or upgrades. Keep abreast of new technologies and make recommendations for improvement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role. Knowledge of network protocols, hardware, software, and security best practices. Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/Server). Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V). Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify complex technical issues quickly and find effective solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non‑technical individuals. Salary and Employment Salary: $1,700/month (negotiable based on experience). Employment Type Full‑time. Location Washington DC. Visa Sponsorship Available for qualified candidates.
