Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software programming in C++, Java, Python or Go.
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Experience with front-end web development and JavaScript/HTML5/CSS, ideally including Angular.

Join the Web Ecosystem team to improve Google engineers writing web applications including all of Google’s largest, most important web products (Gmail, Web Search, Photos, Play Store, and more). Our team is responsible for supporting the TypeScript, Javascript, CSS, Sass, Wasm developer experience, language features, build pipeline, and compilers.
In this role, you will help developers build Google‑class web products. We use the buddy system for all of our work, and we decide on our projects and priorities collectively.

Responsibilities
Write product or system development code.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Evolve Web development experience.
Scale infrastructure to meet the needs of biggest web applications.
