Promotes patient safety and abides by the patient fall risk program and completes fall risk rounding at least twice per shift. Obtains and documents vital signs and reports abnormal findings to patient's nurse. Performs daily weights and reports abnormal findings to patient's nurse. Appropriately documents ADLs, ambulation, intake and output, vital signs, weights, safety rounding, and any other patient care activities performed throughout shift. Ensures that patients have fresh water, while appropriately observing patients with NPO status or fluid restrictions. Assists patients with activities of daily living along with providing them with supplies. Assists in ambulating patient according to physician order. RequirementsMust have an active valid CNA certificate in Maine. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Obtains BLS certification within 1 year of hire into this position and maintains current certification thereafter. Schedule:
Shift: 5:30am-5:30pm With consideration to our patients' and staff needs, you may need to work on days, evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays and may need to float to other units. Contact Information:
