Folsom, CA Onsite only Rate-$50/hr on w2 Open on W2 or C2C Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code changes and deployments. Develop and maintain scripts for automation of system configurations and deployments. Manage version control systems and ensure best practices are followed for code management. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security. Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, test, and production environments. Continuously improve existing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Mandatory Skills:
Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git. Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices. Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Understanding of security best practices in DevOps. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10 15 years of experience in software development and DevOps practices. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly.
