Hospitality & Gaming Technology Position Overview Fusion HCR is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives within a premier hospitality environment. This individual will manage enterprise software and vendor-driven implementations while partnering closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery. Current initiatives include a large-scale payment authorization platform implementation and emerging AI-focused projects. The ideal candidate brings strong experience leading projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), excels in Agile delivery environments, and possesses the executive presence necessary to operate within a highly visible PMO. Experience supporting digital application development, customer-facing technology platforms, or AI-related initiatives is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead multiple concurrent technology projects from initiation through implementation and operational transition. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies. Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and executive-level communications. Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT leadership, vendors, and development resources. Agile & SDLC Management
Drive project execution utilizing Agile methodologies while ensuring alignment to organizational PMO standards. Manage projects through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Facilitate sprint planning, backlog reviews, project tracking, and delivery milestones. Ensure project documentation, testing coordination, and deployment activities are completed successfully. Vendor & Technology Initiatives
Manage vendor relationships and third-party implementation partners. Coordinate technology integrations and platform implementations. Support initiatives involving payment systems, digital applications, AI-enabled solutions, and customer-facing technologies. Risk & Stakeholder Management
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Provide proactive communication regarding project health, timelines, and deliverables. Build strong partnerships across business and technology organizations. Required Qualifications
7+ years of IT Project Management experience. Proven experience managing projects utilizing Agile methodologies. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. Experience leading vendor-driven software implementation projects. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications
Hospitality, gaming, or customer-facing technology experience. Digital application or web/mobile development project experience. AI, chatbot, or emerging technology project exposure. Scrum Master or Agile certification. PMP certification.
