This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of data engineering, application development, and operational enablement, ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems by integrating systems and building impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage data pipelines that integrate data from enterprise systems, vendor sources, and operational environments to support analytics and business insights
Develop internal digital applications and tools that streamline and digitize installation, maintenance, and service workflows
Enable analytics use cases by structuring and modeling data for reporting, dashboards, and operational decision-making
Consolidate and deliver knowledge from multiple sources into user-friendly tools and applications for field teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Service, IT, Product) to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions
Enhance user experience and usability of tools used by field engineers, focusing on simplicity, reliability, and efficiency
Partner with IT and platform teams to ensure integration, deployment, and ongoing support of solutions
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of professional industry experience
Strong programming skills in Python (required); experience with modern C++ is a plus
Experience with mobile / handheld devices and web application development
Experience building internal tools, applications, or automation solutions
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
Solid understanding of data modeling and working with multiple data sources
Ability to work across systems (e.g., enterprise applications, APIs, files, operational data)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a cross-functional environment
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI-enabled applications
Experience building engineering tools, diagnostic interfaces, or HMIs (e.g., Python frameworks, LabVIEW)
Familiarity with knowledge management systems or search platforms
Exposure to BI tools and dashboarding (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
