Description AveningTech is hiring a full-time IT Project Manager. Qualified candidates will need to display experience communicating with staff and customers, mission-focused decision making, and setting targets for milestones adhering to project deadlines.
Responsibilities
Maintain the management plan collaboratively developed with Army Training Infrastructure System (ATIS), providing recurring deliverables and supporting necessary actions required to ensure compliance with the prescribed schedule of events.
Communicate formally and informally with senior managers, functional area managers, and stakeholders regarding the status of specific projects.
Develop formal processes for executing task actions, interfacing with government customers to ensure the overall effectiveness of the technical management program (products, issues, status tracking).
Ensure the overall effectiveness of the technical management program and maintain an appropriate work breakdown structure.
Position contingent upon Government award. Selected candidate will be required to sign a commitment letter.
Position Requirements
Program Manager Professional (PMP) certification
At least 7 years’ experience managing software system projects
Previous Federal Contract experience and Federal Agency IT Program Manager experience preferred.
US Citizen
Travel Required: Customer site travel occasionally required.
Clearance Required: None.
