Overview Join the Transdev Alternative Service Team in Phoenix, Arizona as a Business Analyst. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Forecasting, Planning, and Strategy team, supporting Transdev Alternative Services’ autonomous mobility initiatives. You will be responsible for developing financial models, business cases, and market analyses to support large-scale AV deployments. This role combines strategic analysis, financial planning, and cross-functional coordination to support investment decisions, operational planning, and long-term business growth in a rapidly evolving industry. Transdev provides a broad range of services for our clients’ autonomous driving testing and service development efforts.
Compensation Competitive compensation package of minimum $89,440 – maximum $101,92
Benefits

Key Responsibilities
Support labor planning activities and forecasting for USA and international AV operations.
Perform data analysis and data tool development for TAS partnering with the Data team.
Identify and evaluate strategic business opportunities for autonomous vehicle services through market analysis, financial modeling, and ecosystem assessment.
Lead the development of financial models, including P&L projections, cost structures, CAPEX estimates, and operational assumptions to support large-scale AV deployments and investment decisions.
Prepare detailed business cases and scenario analysis (e.g., pricing, utilization, scalability) to support executive decision-making and long‑term strategy.
Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and technology analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities within the autonomous mobility ecosystem.
Develop marketing materials to highlight Transdev’s autonomous mobility capabilities and support commercial outreach.
Support RFQ and proposal development by providing analytical input, including financial projections, cost modeling, and operational feasibility assessments.
Coordinate partnership discussions with technology providers, mobility operators, and investors involved in autonomous mobility programs.
Develop internal tools, models, and frameworks to standardize financial analysis, forecasting, and business case development across projects.
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, financial planning methodologies, and strategic frameworks.
Other duties as required.
Required Education and Experience
Must be 21 years old.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Strategy, Marketing and or related field preferred.
3 or more years of relevant analysis, strategy, consulting, financial planning, or related roles.
Experience in tech, start‑up, and/or emerging industries (e.g., autonomous vehicles, marketplaces, or data‑driven environments).
Experience working with large corporate clients, cross‑functional teams, and complex projects is highly preferred.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills required.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
Must have good attention to detail and be able to quickly and concisely ingest and communicate insights.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including P&L development, cost modeling, CAPEX analysis, and scenario planning.
Ability to prepare, build and adapt pricing models and financial assumptions across multiple business cases and client scenarios.
Strong knowledge of market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and strategic planning methodologies.
Working knowledge and proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets programs and the ability to manage and manipulate data in spreadsheets and databases.
Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate insights clearly through presentations and reports.
Must have a strong ability to adapt well to rapidly changing environments with ambiguous direction, and dynamic strategies.
Must be self‑motivated and demonstrate good judgment, in fast‑paced, high stress environments.
Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and support business development initiatives in a rapidly evolving industry.
Proficiency in creating client‑facing presentations.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to step back and contribute to broader commercial and business strategy.
Fluency in French required to effectively collaborate with Transdev Group’s global headquarters in Paris and support international initiatives.
Physical Requirements
Travel 30% of the time.
Occasional standing, walking, and sitting.
Long periods of sitting.
Use hands to finger; handle or feel; and talk or hear.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
Must use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Most work is accomplished indoors.
