Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development: Selling industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment to new and existing customers.
Customer Support: Assisting customers via email, telephone, and in‑person walk‑ins; providing guidance on equipment usage and material requirements.
Operations & Logistics: Loading and unloading cylinders, operating forklifts, and serving as a backup driver when necessary.
Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining proper hardgoods and cylinder levels to prevent supply emergencies.
Administrative & Financial: Managing accounts receivable, discussing past‑due accounts, collecting payments, and ensuring accurate paperwork (coding, costing, pricing).
Required Qualifications
At least 21 years of age.
Valid Class B or better CDL.
HAZMAT endorsement.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Forklift experience.
Touch freight delivery experience.
Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
At least 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers.
Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs. and occasionally 76-100+ lbs. with equipment.
Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
Ability to maintain a drug‑free workplace.
Adherence to safety regulations and policies.
