Required Qualifications
An active/current TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.
Bachelors degree in engineering (or similar technical field) and twelve (12+) years relevant experience. An additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
CWSP, CWDP, or equivalent enterprise wireless certification.
DoD 8140/8570 Compliant.
Experience designing and managing enterprise wireless solutions.
Strong knowledge of RF principles, WLAN protocols, and wireless security.
Experience with:
HPE Aruba Controllers
Aruba Access Points
802.11 standards
Desired Qualifications
Ekahau Design Training
CCNP Enterprise
Advanced wireless architecture certifications

About The Role Peraton is seeking a self-driven and resourceful Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic of Network and UC engineers in Washington, DC. This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and sustainment of enterprise wireless networking solutions supporting a one-of-a-kind mission.
The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise for wireless infrastructure, conduct predictive and physical site surveys, troubleshoot RF interference issues, and manage enterprise-class WLAN environments.
Senior Network Engineer responsibilities:
Drive modernization efforts by engineering and implementing infrastructure improvements, automation capabilities, and technology refresh initiatives
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise wireless networks.
Conduct predictive and physical RF site surveys.
Perform wireless coverage analysis and optimization.
Troubleshoot wireless performance, connectivity, and interference issues.
Manage wireless controllers, access points, and related infrastructure.
Develop network architecture documentation and technical designs.
Support network modernization and technology refresh initiatives.
Coordinate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams.
