£55,000 - £65,000 DOE | Full-Time | Permanent Join a Growing MSP Supporting Businesses Across the UK Veritas Workspace Solutions is a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering IT, networking, cloud, telecommunications and cyber security solutions to businesses across a wide range of sectors. We're looking for an experienced Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join our technical team. You'll work across multiple customer environments, delivering projects, supporting infrastructure, assisting with pre-sales consultancy and helping onboard new clients into our managed services portfolio. If you enjoy variety, customer interaction and getting hands-on with technology, this role offers far more exposure than a traditional in-house IT position. What You'll Be Doing • Supporting and maintaining multiple client networks and infrastructure environments • Configuring routers, switches, firewalls and wireless solutions • Delivering infrastructure upgrades, migrations and cloud projects • Supporting virtualisation platforms including VMware and Hyper-V • Improving network performance, resilience and cyber security • Assisting with technical pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, solution design and technical recommendations • Supporting the onboarding of new clients, including infrastructure assessments, documentation reviews and service transitions • Working alongside vendors, telecom providers and technology partners • Acting as a senior technical escalation point when required • Visiting customer sites across London and the South East to deliver projects, perform infrastructure upgrades, conduct technical assessments and build strong client relationships What We're Looking For • 3+ years' experience as a Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or similar role • A strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS and DHCP • Good knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP and ICMP, and an understanding of how these technologies work together to support business infrastructure • Experience with enterprise networking and security platforms such as Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco Meraki or similar • Windows Server and Active Directory experience • VMware or Hyper-V knowledge • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across network and infrastructure environments • An understanding of the three core areas of infrastructure engineering: * Design – understanding customer requirements and designing suitable solutions * Configuration & Deployment – implementing and configuring infrastructure to best practice standards * Monitoring & Support – proactively maintaining, monitoring and supporting customer environments • Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users • Ability to confidently engage with customers and understand business requirements • Full UK driving licence preferred Desirable • CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certification • MSP experience • VoIP / Telecoms experience What You'll Get • £55,000 - £65,000 DOE • Ongoing training and certifications • Exposure to a wide range of technologies and customer environments • Project-based work alongside day-to-day engineering • Opportunities to be involved in solution design, customer onboarding and technical consultancy • Genuine progression opportunities within a growing MSP • Friendly and supportive technical team Why Join Veritas?
