À propos

*Overview*
In this role, you will lead the critical upstream phase of our SaaS product life cycle. You will be responsible for comprehensively analyzing major competitors, identifying structural gaps in the market, and positioning our product advantageously to win market share. This is a deeply technical position requiring you to parse complex third-party API documentation, map out intricate backend logic, design relational data schemas, and construct the precise state machines that govern our platform's infrastructure.
Compensation is negotiable and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, technical depth, product ownership capability, and relevant SaaS / payments background.
*Responsibilities*
*1. Advanced System Logic & Product Architecture (Upstream)*
* *Competitor Reverse-Engineering:* Perform deep-dive of market leaders SaaS platforms in the Spa and Wellness space. Analyze their systems at a structural level to tailor solutions for our product.
*2. Strategic Stakeholder & Engineering Alignment*
* *System Delivery Sync:* Lead the daily technical handoff call with the overseas Product Delivery Lead and Lead Engineer. Collaboratively resolve technical architecture bottlenecks before coding begins.
* *Scope & MVP Management:* Partner directly with the stakeholders to filter out feature bloat. Define and protect the product timeline by defining strict Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), systematically cutting non-essential complexities to ensure major launch milestones are met on schedule.
*3. Quality Assurance & Product Optimization*
* *User Acceptance Testing (UAT):* Take ultimate ownership of UAT from a market and consumer perspective. Audit the feature to ensure it meets premium US consumer standards, fluidity, and exact logical execution.
* *Data Analytics Ownership:* Define, implement, and track core user events and metrics. Uncover user drop-off points and prioritize the rolling optimization roadmap.
* *Strategic Vendor Management:* Oversee the architectural configuration and strategic integration of core third-party webhooks and APIs.
* *PRD & Diagram Creation:* Write granular Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and construct System Logic Sequence Diagrams. Your diagrams must explicitly map out the User Experience (UI) flow, the Backend/API communication layer, and the Database State changes simultaneously.
* *Data Modeling & State Machine Design:* Define exactly how new platform capabilities (such as upcoming membership systems, packages, and rebooking flows) link back to core database tables. Architect the exact logic paths for complex payment states (e.g., executing a Payment Processing compliant $0 authorization to store cards on file for strict cancellation policies vs. collecting upfront deposits).
*Requirements*
* *Professional Experience:* 3 to 6 years of experience as a Product Manager, Systems Analyst, or a Software Engineer who has transitioned into a dedicated systems-focused product role. Experience within B2B SaaS, Fintech/Payments, or multi-tenant Marketplace platforms is highly desirable.
* *Technical Core Competency:* Must be fully literate in database relationships, entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), RESTful APIs, and state-machine logic. You must possess the technical gravity to comfortably align with and command respect from high-velocity backend developers.
* *Velocity & AI Tooling Literacy:* Proven ability to output complex workflow charts and documentation at an accelerated pace. Highly proficient in leveraging modern productivity tools and AI assistance (e.g., advanced prompting, automated diagramming engines) to expedite research, reverse-engineering, and spec writing.
* *Execution Mindset:* Exceptional comfort with startup ambiguity.
