BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for an Overnight Relief Veterinary Receptionist in Glendale, AZ! This role will be assisting from July-October to cover an individual on leave. We are looking for our next superstar! ⭐ Schedule: Thursday-Saturday from 4pm-4am. We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. *Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:
Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential
Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential
What You’ll Do
Provide high-level reception support in a busy emergency and specialty hospital
Greet clients, check in patients, and manage front desk flow during overnight hours
Answer phones and support client communication with professionalism and empathy
Assist with estimates, invoices, and financial discussions
Communicate clearly with medical teams to support patient care and workflow
Maintain accurate documentation and front desk processes during high-stress periods
Help create a calm, organized, and supportive experience for clients during urgent situations
What We’re Looking For
Previous/current veterinary receptionist experience required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-emotion emergency environment
Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate presence
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and computer skills
Positive, energetic, and willing to jump in where needed

This role offers the chance to make an immediate impact, gain additional specialty and emergency experience, and potentially continue with the hospital in a flexible capacity.
