About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Design Engineer with strong SCADA system engineering expertise to join our rail infrastructure team. This role will focus on requirements definition, system architecture, and interface design, supporting the delivery of complex and safety-critical rail systems.
You will play a key role across the full engineering lifecycle, from requirements capture through to design, integration, and commissioning, ensuring robust and scalable solutions are delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Engineering
Lead the elicitation, capture, and analysis of system-level requirements from stakeholders Develop high-quality, testable, and traceable requirements aligned with operational and regulatory needs Maintain requirements traceability throughout the system lifecycle Conduct and lead requirements reviews, ensuring completeness, consistency, and clarity Manage requirements change control in a structured and auditable manner
System Design & Architecture
Lead and contribute to outline and detailed design phases of SCADA systems Develop system architectures aligned to operational, safety, and performance requirements Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards Produce and review key design artefa...
