Job Description Summary Provide general support to the Athletic Trainers and Sports Medicine Department. ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities - Athletic Training Assistant (Athletic Department):
Assist with set-up and cleanup of athletic training stations, including preparing ice tubs and organizing materials Fill and refill water bottles, roll out water machines, and ensure hydration stations are maintained Lift and move items or boxes up to 15 lbs, including sports equipment, tape, and medical supplies Package and unpack athletic training materials and restock inventory as needed Record athlete measurables and maintain accurate logs for inventory and supplies Support student-athlete appointments by assisting trainers with basic tasks and tracking Maintain cleanliness and organization of the training room and work areas Perform other duties as assigned by certified athletic training staff Required Qualifications Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn support process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Valid CPR & First Aid Certification Desired Qualifications A cell phone, laptop, and or PC will be necessary for daily responsibilities. Communication is key for both roles; if something comes up, it is expected that you reach out and update your supervisor. Relaible transportation.
