Position Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as a Certified Surgical Technician. In this role, you will work closely under the supervision of a registered professional nurse to assist with surgical procedures, including therapeutic, preventive, and emergency patient care. You will also be responsible for the preparation, operation, and maintenance of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring 72 hours every two weeks, with participation in weekend and holiday on-call rotations. Education & Certification
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a surgical technology program is preferred. Certification from an accredited surgical tech training program is highly desirable. Experience & Skills
Minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in the operating room and Central Sterile environment is acceptable in lieu of formal training. Strong computer literacy and communication skills are essential. Ability to follow instructions accurately under pressure while demonstrating compassion and empathy toward patients.
