Protect Dignity. Make Every Shift Count. West Janisch Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. We are currently hiring for Full-Time and PRN positions across multiple shifts, offering flexibility while maintaining consistent, high-quality medication administration and resident support. As a CMA, you play a critical role in ensuring medications are administered safely and accurately while promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life for our residents. Key Responsibilities Medication Administration & Documentation Administer and document oral, ophthalmic, otic, topical, and suppository medications per provider orders and facility policy Maintain secure control of medication and treatment carts Complete, accurate, and timely EMR documentation Treatment & Clinical Support Perform approved basic skin treatments as ordered Monitor and report changes in resident condition or medication side effects Communicate concerns promptly to licensed nurses Resident Care & Support Assist with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers, and positioning Answer call lights and conduct purposeful rounding Promote resident safety, dignity, and independence Safety & Team Collaboration Follow infection prevention and safety protocols Protect resident privacy and rights Work closely with licensed nurses and interdisciplinary team members Qualifications Current Texas Medication Aide (CMA) permit in good standing (required) Active Texas CNA certification (required) Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred Basic computer/EMR proficiency Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to meet local health requirements and pass required screenings BenefitsFull-Time Team Members (30+ hours/week):
