Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients. Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits by accurately updating medical records, initiating patient contact, and preparing patients for examinations. Collect vital signs and patient history, observe and report abnormal symptoms to physicians, and document all findings thoroughly. Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate patient testing and referrals, and communicate test results to patients. Obtain necessary consents for procedures and immunizations, and distribute educational materials to support patient understanding. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterility of instruments and equipment. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
Education and Experience Required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required. Work Shift: First shift, full-time (40 hours per week) in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
