What You Bring
4+ years of industry backend software engineering experience 2+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer at a rapidly growing start up or innovative company. Experience driving technical direction and leading teams on project execution Architect scalable systems and design latency sensitive applications for our Intercoms deployed around the world. Experience collaborating cross functionally to design complex systems with simple and robust backend APIs History of shipping out significant products. We are looking for someone who can own backend systems end-to-end. Ownership mentality, resolving problems that span beyond team boundaries Deep expertise with relational databases. Postgres experience a plus Demonstrated expertise in either Python or GoLang Experience with Kubernetes a plus Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week

Annual Pay Range At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity.
