Must obtain CCMA within 2 years. General knowledge of English, grammar, spelling, data entry and retrieval, and computer applications software. General knowledge of mathematics, medical terminology and health. General knowledge of confidentiality concepts and requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with the healthcare professionals, public, customers, and staff. Equivalent to a high school education and six (6) months of related experience, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties. DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: CCMA Certification or a minimum of 3 years medical office experience providing direct patient care. Harney County Health District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
