Job Summary: Deliver exceptional healthcare by supporting radiologic technologists in producing high-quality diagnostic images. This role involves assisting with radiographic procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment. Essential Responsibilities:
Assist radiologic technologists during diagnostic imaging, verifying patient history aligns with procedures and documenting information for licensed practitioners. Prepare patients by providing clear instructions to achieve optimal imaging results while reducing anxiety. Apply aseptic techniques when necessary and initiate basic life support if required. Maintain assigned work areas, report equipment issues, and ensure cleanliness and supply availability. Engage in quality assessment and improvement initiatives within the department. Adhere to established standards and use sound judgment to care for patients of varying ages and conditions. Note: This description outlines primary duties but is not exhaustive; responsibilities may evolve over time.
Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills.
Work Shift: First shift, part-time weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM). Location: Regional healthcare facility in the Midwest United States.
