Job Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN supports the healthcare team by delivering quality nursing care, administering medications, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in accordance with established care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the RN or physician. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Perform wound care and other basic medical procedures. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Support admission, discharge, and transfer processes. Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and health conditions.
