Shodair is looking to add a Genetic Counseling Assistant to our Medical Genetics team! The Genetic Counseling Assistant will work as a team member with the Genetic Counselors and other clinicians, assisting them with aspects of patient intake, genetic counseling, documentation and post-clinic follow-up duties. The ideal candidate is someone who:
Has experience with patient and family contact in a community or medical setting Has experience with clinical projects Can establish priorities and organize work as needed Has basic computer skills Has excellent customer service skills Shodair offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package, including free medical and vision insurance, a 6% 403B employer-paid contribution, tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment options! This position starts at $19.04 per hour. Requirements EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE;
Required education and experience-High School Degree or GED. Prior experience with patient and or family contact in a community or medical setting. Previous experience with clinical projects, either in an administrative or clinical role, strongly preferred. Preferred education and experience- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, biological/health science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary Description Starting at $19.04 per hour
