The Ultrasound Sonographer is responsible to operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasounds as directed by physicians and perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Education/Certifications:
Must have certification in ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers). 12 months experience in Vascular Ultrasound preferred. Must have certification in Vascular ultrasound or must obtain RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification within 6 months from date of hire. Proficient Experience or specialties in ABD, Breast, OB/GYN, small parts, and scrotum preferred. 1-2 years of related clinical experience preferred. Graduate of CAAHEP accredited program in Ultrasonography. RDMS certification required. RVT certification required within 6 months of hire. Certification in OB/GYN preferred. BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire. The pay scale for this position is $36.14 - $56.02 per hour.
