The following position is available for the 2025-2026 school year:PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT Candidates shall:
Have completed 2 years of post-secondary education, or Possess an Associate's or higher degree, or Possess a Credential of Competency Certificate Must also have: Ability to work with severely handicapped students Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence Ability to present information one-on-one or in small groups Ability to communicate both orally and in writing Willingness to take direction from professional staff Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student matters Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers Ability to establish supportive and helpful relationships with children Ability to handle frequent distractions Capability of lifting/assist with the lifting of students Ability and willingness to assist with students with physical self-care needs (e.g. toileting) Ability to drive between buildings
