Work Arrangement Remote work is available; Pacific or Mountain Time Zone preferred. Candidates within 50 miles of Mountain View, CA, Warren, MI, or Austin, TX must work a hybrid schedule—three days a week onsite. Role Overview People Analytics Analyst in GM’s People Analytics Center of Excellence, partnering with People Analytics Consultants to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic talent decisions, improve organizational effectiveness, and enhance the employee experience. Responsibilities Analyze complex people data and deliver clear, actionable insights to support strategic talent decisions across multiple business units. Work independently to determine the best analytical approach for each project while collaborating closely with People Analytics Consultants. Present findings and recommendations to business leaders in a compelling and accessible manner. Support projects related to organizational health, hiring and retention, workforce planning, employee experience, and other related areas. Contribute to the development and enhancement of People Analytics solutions by sharing feedback and ideas. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing work that drives the greatest impact for the business. Requirements 3+ years of client-facing People Analytics, or Human Capital Consulting experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, IO Psychology) or a degree in HR, or equivalent professional experience. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in inferential statistics such as correlation and regression, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Experience with analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, R, or Python (advanced tools preferred but not required). Solid understanding of HR data and employee lifecycle processes (talent acquisition, development, workforce planning, employee listening, etc.). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to business leaders. Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple concurrent projects and adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining high standards of quality. Compensation Salary range: $98,300 – $150,200.
