VP, CSA Consulting
role requires proven experience delivering excellence as a highly adaptable, hands‑on Analytics consultant. Pharma and healthcare experience is a must! This role is execution‑first but also plays a critical support role in the conception and selling data‑driven solutions that help clients transform their businesses with an appetite for operating in a start‑up‑like setting within a larger organization. This person should be equally comfortable advising senior stakeholders as they are rolling up their sleeves and diving into delivering Analytics solutions to transform businesses. What Success Looks Like in This Role: Within 6 months, you are a trusted resource to clients and internal teams alike. People think of you when there’s an interesting challenge to conquer. Within 1 year, you have optimized client data strategies, introduced new business solutions, and contributed to business growth through data‑driven insights. Clients now rely on your implementations, analyses, insights and strategic guidance as critical components of their business decision‑making process. A DAY IN THE LIFE: Data Strategy & Business Transformation (60%) Serve as the primary data consultant for pharmaceutical, wellness and other healthcare brands ensuring their data strategies and analytics toolkit/technologies are aligned to drive business impact. Act as extension of client teams to develop advanced analytics and industry‑specific data solutions, working closely with analytics lead and client teams to determine requirements and functionality to meet end user needs. Develop and maintain trusted, long‑term relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic Analytics partner who helps them navigate critical business challenges. Lead end‑to‑end execution of data consulting engagements, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and delivering measurable outcomes. Translate technical data concepts into clear, actionable business application, serving as a bridge between analytics, technology, and client strategy teams. Work with internal media, planning, and activation teams to ensure that data strategy is fully aligned with broader marketing and business goals. Actively stay ahead of trends in AI, machine learning, and automation, identifying new opportunities to future‑proof clients' data capabilities. Develop frameworks for evaluating data maturity, structuring first‑party data strategies, and optimizing report structure for maximum business value. Thrive in changing environments, quickly assessing new challenges, learning new tools, and adapting strategies to evolving business needs. New Business & Solution Selling (20%) Support the development and packaging of repeatable, scalable data consulting solutions, positioning them for sale to new and existing clients. Lead conversations in pitches, RFPs, and client meetings, demonstrating the value of data strategy, dashboarding, and advanced analytics. Identify white space opportunities where CSA can expand its data offerings and drive additional revenue. Proactively ideate and concept new solutions, including prospecting supplemental data & analytics partners for integration into CSA Health offerings. Partner with sales and client leadership teams to sell and implement transformative data solutions that drive real business value. Team Leadership & Culture Driving (20%) Leadership & Start‑Up Mentality (20%) Oversee cross‑functional, dotted‑line teams, including data visualization specialists, analysts, and data engineers, ensuring alignment and execution across projects. Cultivate an intellectually curious start‑up mindset within the team—leaning in as needed and encouraging innovation, rapid experimentation, and the ability to operate with agility and resilience in uncertain environments. Build relationships through a matrixed organization and mobilize shared teams through common goals and vision. WHAT YOU’LL NEED/SKILLS: 7-10 years of hands‑on experience in data consulting, analytics, or strategy, preferably in media, marketing, or health & wellness industries. Deep, hands on expertise in health & wellness data, including regulatory considerations, first‑party data activation, and media measurement is required. Strong experience partnering with analytics teams to move beyond reporting and drive business transformation. Exceptional client and project management skills, with a track record of leading complex, high‑stakes engagements. Demonstrated ability in prior consulting roles to help clients find clarity, confidence, and results through transformation Experience managing dotted‑line resources across analytics, BI, data engineering, and data visualization, ensuring seamless collaboration, preferred. Knowledge of media measurement methodologies, attribution, and marketing mix modeling. Should be adept in the use of: SQL and other programming languages, MarTech, MT Tools, and Technology such as, but not limited to, CDPs, Adobe, Google Analytics, DSP’s, etc. WHO YOU ARE Highly emotionally intelligent, with the ability to navigate complex client dynamics, manage stakeholders, and foster strong relationships. A quick learner, especially in evolving environments, staying agile and adapting to new challenges as they arise. A strong storyteller with an ability to turn data into compelling narratives for executive audiences (Powerpoint skills a must) A generalist who’s able to work across multiple data domains (measurement, reporting, analytics, technology) with a problem‑solving approach.
