uParts is an innovative software company seeking courageous and experienced outside account executives to represent our products and services to the repair shops and auto part suppliers.
Account Executive The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years business-to-business outside sales experience – preferably in the automotive industry. He/she will be a resourceful, articulate, and charismatic sales/marketing specialist with the ability to source, qualify, and establish new business relationships with collision repair shops through cold calling and/or in-person visits.

Locating and evaluating prospects

Setting up appointments for product introduction and performing demonstrations

Maintaining a close relationship with each account to ensure maximum utilization of our products and services
Software Developer Play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the next generation of uParts as it continues to grow and evolve. Be part of an exciting, dynamic environment, engineering software solutions for all aspects of the company.
Responsibilities
Work directly with the CTO and Product Teams to design and implement new features and functionalities to the existing product
Be responsible for larger projects, building out new applications and platforms as the company grows and expands
Perform development work both independently as well as in small development teams
Execute the technical design, development, testing and deployment of new features and functionality
Job Requirements
2+ years of proven software development, on shipped products and/or launched web applications
Experience with Object Oriented design principles and programming methodologies is a must
2+ of PHP and at least 1 year of .NET/J2EE/Ruby/Python/C++ experience
2+ years of MySQL experience
Passion for usability and user-focused design
Experience with LAMP-stack administration a plus
Experience with GIT or a distributed source control management system a plus
Experience with any Object Oriented framework (Qcodo, Rails, Zend Framework, Struts, Hibernate, etc.) a big plus
Experience with the Qcodo Development Framework an even bigger plus
Must be a local candidate or must be willing to relocate to the Los Angeles / Orange County Area (relocation reimbursements may be considered, but only for exceptionally qualified applicants)

6+ years of proven software development, on shipped products and/or launched web applications
Solid understanding of Object Oriented design principles and programming methodologies is an absolute must
4+ years architecting web-based applications
2+ years of leading and managing teams of software developers
4+ years of PHP and 2+ years of .NET/J2EE/Ruby/Python experience, or 5+ years .NET/J2EE/Ruby/Python experience with exposure to PHP
3+ years of MySQL experience

Sr. User Experience / Information Architect We are looking for a well-qualified contractor to help us overhaul our existing web- and desktop-based suite of applications, as well as helping to lay the foundation of a solid approach to IA/UX for future and ongoing initiatives.
Responsibilities
Ability to develop IA/UX documentation (site outlines, process flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, and navigation models) for web, desktop and mobile applications, as well as communication flows over email, SMS, fax, etc.
Develop functionality diagrams, process flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for optimal usability
Brainstorm and collaborate with Project Managers, Creative Designers, Developers, end users, and other stakeholders to determine user interface needs
Work directly with the CEO, CTO and Product Teams to ensure technical feasibility and flawless implementation
Defend or critique the statement: a good developer is constantly looking to write code that runs as efficiently and optimally as possible.
Job Requirements
6+ years of proven work as an Information Architect and UX Designer on shipped products and/or launched web applications
Experience with visual design, or experience with managing the visual design process with an offsite visual design team a plus
Solid understanding of streamlined HTML/HTML5 and CSS code a plus
Must be a local candidate in the Los Angeles / Orange County Area (telecommuting is okay, but must be able to come to the office at least 2 days a week for meetings, presentations, etc.)
Compensation Compensation is based on a competitive market hourly-rate. The position can either be a 3-month full-time contracting position (40 hours/week) or a 6-month part-time contracting position (20 hours/week).

Responsibilities
Personally build and strengthen key dealer relationships, especially with large dealer groups
Hire, empower & lead a team of highly motivated & disciplined sales professionals
Identify and develop product requirements to satisfy dealers' needs
Develop business success metrics and implement plans to exceed them
Provide senior representation during dealer meetings, reviews, visits and outings
Define & deploy new product lines
Identify methods to effectively market, train and communicate with prospective and existing customers
Continually improve systems and processes to manage, track, report and optimize both team and dealers' performance
Conceptualize and create sales and marketing collateral to target dealerships.
Qualifications
10+ years of sales management (including 5+ in a senior level leadership role)
Strong understanding of dealerships, with outstanding scalable operational skills.
Experience and success in building and leading highly talented sales teams
Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue, sales and other quantitative and qualitative goals
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment of constant change
Self-directed, rolls up the sleeves and overcomes obstacles
Sets, pursues and follows-through with achieving goals with a sense of urgency
Experience giving effective presentations to key decision makers
Collaborative attitude and desire to contribute outside primary areas of responsibility
