The Role at a Glance Senior Business Analyst – Competitive Intelligence team, Retail Solutions. Hybrid work arrangement: employee will work 3 days a week in a Lincoln office. Key city locations include Charlotte (NC), Fort Wayne (IN), Greensboro (NC), Hartford (CT), Omaha (NE), and Radnor (PA). Relocation assistance is not available. Requisition #: 76125.
As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will shape our transition to a digital‑first, data‑driven operating model. You will partner closely with enterprise data, analytics, and visualization teams to onboard and manage CI‑relevant data sources and drive the shift from static reporting to scalable, self‑service insights.
What you’ll be doing
Drive the strategy and roadmap to evolve CI’s data, reporting, and analytics capabilities toward a more digital, self‑service model.
Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to identify data gaps, define needs, and deliver actionable, business‑focused solutions.
Lead efforts to modernize and scale reporting through automation, standardization, and improved data delivery processes.
Serve as a key liaison to data, analytics, and visualization teams to ensure tools and dashboards align with CI and business needs.
Translate complex, multi‑source data into clear insights, trends, and executive‑ready storytelling.
Monitor tool usage, data quality, and performance—continuously improving outputs, driving adoption, and addressing gaps or issues.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and overall outcomes.
What we’re looking for Required experience
4‑year bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s).
5–7+ years of business analysis experience directly aligned with the responsibilities of this position.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, evaluate trends, and drive sound decisions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Strong relationship‑management skills with a collaborative, partnership‑oriented approach.
Critical thinking, translating complex information into actionable insights, and recommending process improvements.
Experience driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and overall outcomes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills, and comfort working with data and reporting tools.
Preferred experience
Financial services experience, preferably in life insurance.
Proficiency in Excel automation, including VBA or similar scripting experience.
Strong data skills with the ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies.

Competitive pay range: $96,900 – $176,200; anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
Potential eligibility for the Annual Incentive Program, discretionary based on company, business unit and individual performance.
