Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer (Fresher) to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of software testing concepts, basic Java programming skills, and a keen interest in building a career in test automation. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with developers, QA team, and product managers to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and related frameworks.
Execute manual and automated test cases, analyse results, and report bugs.
Participate in test planning, test design, and defect tracking.
Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
Document test results and present findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools in automation testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of Java programming.
Understanding of software testing concepts (manual and automation).
Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
Exposure to version control tools like Git.
Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
Awareness of Agile methodology.
