Your Mission You build and improve backend systems and contribute to scalable applications. You take ownership and learn by doing. • Develop applications using Laravel and PHP • Build and integrate APIs and database structures • Improve performance and system reliability • Write clean, structured and maintainable code with focus on scalability • Contribute to technical decisions and architecture discussions • Work closely with a small team and share ideas Support Core Defense Capabilities • Fleet Management through supporting applications • Total Asset Visibility through data driven systems • MRO and Sustainment through reliable backend services
What You Bring • You have built multiple real projects beyond tutorials or school assignments • You can show code, applications or systems you have developed • Experience with Laravel and PHP • Understanding of APIs and databases (e.g. MySQL) • You enjoy building from scratch and taking ownership of problems • You are comfortable working in evolving and less structured environments • Interest in performance, scalability and clean code • Familiarity with tools such as React or Docker is a plus • Structured and analytical way of working • Clear communication and willingness to collaborate Systems Thinking and Analytical Strength You start to understand how code, systems and users connect. You think beyond features and consider performance, structure and long term impact. Working Across Teams and Functions You work in a small team with direct collaboration. You share ideas, learn from others and contribute to how the team works and builds software.
