Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analytics Architect to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise-scale data architecture and analytics solutions. This role requires deep expertise in modern cloud data platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , with a strong focus on BigQuery, data warehousing, and enterprise data strategy . The ideal candidate will provide architectural leadership, define data roadmaps, and enable scalable, secure, and high-performance data ecosystems that support advanced analytics and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive enterprise-wide data architecture strategy, roadmap, and governance frameworks across the organization.
Design and implement scalable data warehouse and analytics solutions supporting complex business requirements.
Lead end-to-end architecture of modern data ecosystems using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, with deep expertise in BigQuery .
Architect and optimize data pipelines using Informatica IDMC and related data integration tools.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and Python-based data processing workflows for analytics and transformation.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and production support teams on data engineering best practices.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and analytics capabilities.
Ensure data solutions align with enterprise standards for performance, scalability, security, and compliance .
Evaluate and implement modern data architecture patterns, including cloud-native and AI/ML-ready data platforms.
Drive data quality, governance, and metadata management practices across enterprise systems.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Analytics, Data Governance, and Data Warehousing with strong architectural leadership.
Proven experience defining and executing enterprise data strategies and roadmaps .
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , especially BigQuery .
Expertise in Informatica IDMC for data integration and management.
Advanced proficiency in complex SQL and Python for data engineering and analytics.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions .
Ability to support both development and production data systems .
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business-facing skills.
GCP Certification required (Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect).
Good to Have Skills
Experience with GCP Pub/Sub and Cloud Composer for data orchestration and streaming pipelines.
Exposure to AI/ML-ready data architecture design and enabling machine learning workloads.
Experience with BigQuery data modeling and Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) tools.
Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies .
Prior consulting experience or exposure to large-scale enterprise environments.
Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance frameworks in enterprise data platforms.
