Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. Patient Assessment & Care: Conducts comprehensive assessments, provides holistic nursing care, and notifies physicians of significant changes. Care Planning & Coordination: Develops, directs, and evaluates individualized care plans, including patient/family education and discharge planning, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Treatment Implementation: Prepares patients for procedures, implements physician orders, and ensures patient safety protocols, including medication administration. Ongoing Evaluation & Adjustment: Regularly reassesses patient responses to interventions, adapts care to changing needs, and communicates with physicians for modifications. Effective Communication & Handoffs: Utilizes Bedside Shift Report, provides thorough patient updates, and delegates tasks for seamless care transitions. Safety & Quality Assurance: Maintains a safe patient and work environment, promptly addresses hazards, and actively contributes to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives. Bachelor of Science in Nursing At least one (1) year of RN experience, upon hire Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire
