Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods. Create customized treatment plans that cater to both immediate needs and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions centering on communication, language fluency, voice control, and swallowing techniques. Partner with physical, occupational, and respiratory therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care approaches. Educate patients and families to facilitate continued progress beyond the therapy environment. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the patient's journey. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with state, federal, and institutional regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development by keeping abreast of innovations in the field through education and collaborative learning. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment. Skills
