Weekly Estimated Pay: $805 - $895
Setting: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - NICU nurse / neonatal nurse role
Location: Staten Island, NY 10310 (Staten Island healthcare / New York nursing jobs)
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Shifts per Week: 1
Duration: 52 weeks
Employment Type: Local, On-Site
Start Date: July 6, 2026
Minimum Commitment: Must work at least 2 shifts per month to remain active
Job Requirements At least 1 year of NICU nursing experience required (NICU RN / neonatal nurse experience)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced NICU environment
Preferred: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Responsibilities Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill neonates as an experienced NICU nurse
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers to coordinate neonatal care
Educate and support families throughout the NICU stay, delivering family-centered care
Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to hospital protocols, and ensure compliance with NY state nursing standards
