Description: This position involves performing echocardiograms on pediatric patients. The average number of scans performed per day is eight. The sonographer will work in an inpatient echo environment. Experience with fetal and pediatric echo imaging is essential. Department-specific equipment includes Philips EPIQ7. The sonographer is expected to wear light grey scrubs or child-appropriate scrub tops. There are no requirements for weekend shifts or holiday coverage. No IV starts are required for this role. The department does not utilize radiology assistants or have a radiologist in-house. Candidates must be detail-oriented and prioritize quality in their work. This position does not involve on-call or standby requirements. The charting system used is EPIC.
